2010 Centenial Year Events and Info
-2010 National Jamboree
2010 marks the 100th anniversary of scouting and whats a better way to celebrate that an by attending the 2010 National Jamboree in Ft. A.P. Hill Virginia.
The dates are July 26-Aug 4 and the price is $2,000.00 dollars. Greater St. Louis Area Council has only 30 spots available so if you wish to go you must get your appication in now.

Scout Quest will be June 4-6, 2010.
-North Star Escape 2010
The North Star Escape will be on April 10 and 11 2010.

Congratulations Steve Rechtien
North Star would like to congradulate Steve Rechtien on anchieving the silver beaver award.
The Silver Beaver Award is the highest honor a Boy Scout council can bestow on an adult volunteer leader.
Steve recieved his award at Council's Annual Meeting and Recognition Dinner on May 28 at the St. Charles Convention Center.

Northstar Polaris Award Recipients
At the Northstar District Dinner, we had five scouters recieve the highest award that a district may give.
We would like to congradulate (from left to right) Rob Kissner, Steven Francis, Margaret Lickenbrock, Mike Kavanaugh and Forrest "Butch" Hammond.

North Star had Five (5) OA members recieve their nomination for the Vigil Honor at the Winter Fellowship Banquet.

The Next Roundtable meeting will be held on December 3rd 2009.
Northstar Roundtable are the first Thursday of the month August throught June.
